I highly recommend the chicken, great smoke flavor and still moist. sliced brisket was also very good and flavorful. Staff was friendly and attentive. Check them out if you are in town.

Visited Brenham and stumbled upon this gem. Really cool little place to eat. We got the 1 pound/2meats platter. Chopped brisket and pulled pork. Really delicious. Sauce was interesting, tangy. Got fries, large basket. Sat outside and it was really nice. Lots of places to sit, country music and chill vibe. The loaded nachos looked great. Might go back! Worth a stop.

Stop Here!!!! We stumbled across this gem and will be back tomorrow. The One Pound Dinner with a basket of fries was enough to feed my wife and myself. Our stomachs would have endless found space the food was so good but our heads knew the one pound dinner with pulled pork and chopped brisket was the perfect amount to fill both of us. Tomorrow is the nacos.

Can't say enough good about Pioneer Smokehouse and the experience we had there. First and foremost, GREAT BBQ... everything was delicious. The Hobo nachos were particularly AWESOME!!! Everyone was so friendly and just down to earth. That combined with the sweet decore and ambiance just gives this place a really cool vibe. I recommend trying the Casey Jones challenge...it doesn't disappoint, i promise. I know I'll be back soon.

Amazing gem. Kid friendly and great relaxed atmosphere. The brisket was superb and the pulled pork and Cole slaw were heaven. We got three kids meals and the kids loved drinking soda out of the bottle and the popsicle was the sweetest treat. We will now be planning our trips around opportunities to visit here again.

Nice little BBQ spot in Downtown Brenham that we discovered by using Google Maps. The menu had a ton of sandwiches on it so we decided to try one instead of the usual barbecue meal. We went with the Hot For Teacher sandwich. It sure was delicious. All the ingredients on the sandwich worked. The jalapenos and jelly did not make it too spicy eat. The smoked cream cheese added the right touch to make it all bind together. We went have a cold rainy night. It looks like a nice place to hang out when it's a nice day outside. They have a concert venue in the back.
